digital editor
New Statesman

Jasper Jackson is digital editor of the New Statesman, overseeing its online output across all platforms. He was previously the Guardian’s assistant media editor and the editor of TheMediaBriefing. He has spent the majority of his reporting career as a media and tech journalist, specialising in how digital disruption has challenged established organisations and opened up new opportunities. He has also spoken on issues such as the lessons the media can learn from Brexit and the changing digital advertising ecosystem.

"Recognising the good work done in online media not only encourages those putting their all into the job, but helps highlight the examples of innovation and success we can all learn from."
